This month we have been doing a lot of work behind the scenes. Some works under construction are the Whistlestop Hotel, New Gisborne and Parts Warehouse, Campbellfield.
Le Corbusier, a famous architect from the 50’s, once described houses as “a machine for living in”. If that is the case, Parts Warehouse Campbellfield is around 8,500 sqm of complex distribution machinery. This project is for long-term client Preston Motors Group and is a thrilling, fast-paced build.
The recycled brick looks great with the timber cladding in New Gisborne. It will look even better in a few years once the timber has been allowed to weather. Then the timber will be a lovely silvery grey colour.
